survs

less-than-25-words

Survs is a one stop shop for all of your survey creation, distribution and analysis needs.

Any customer focussed buiness should be harvesting customer feedback in order to improve their business. Survs offers a good solution to create and distribute surveys though their platform.

Survs provides a clean, intuitive and user friendly interface. There’s a couple of tidy features inbuilt like filters and custom themes, but overall this is a solid - if unsurprising - survey tool.

There’s a LOT of competition out there for survey creation tools - what will Survs do to stand out from the rest of the bunch?

the-review

I have to admit: Survs is the type of app that makes me very interested.  When I was earning a crust as a trainer, feedback is a pretty key part of the job. Like Pavlov’s dogs, I start salivating when the promise of survey results and statistical analysis is offered (don’t hate the player, hate the game).

So does Survs deliver to my anal-retentiveness? Well, yes and no.

There’s no doubt that Survs is a tidy package. Relying heavily on AJAX programming, users create surveys in a dynamic, fast environment where you aren’t forever waiting on page reloads to preview your work. You can also filter your results using logical and boolean terms - pretty handy when you want to know how many 18-24 year olds that work in sales eat cornflakes for breakfast. Apart from that, it’s pretty much business as usual. If you have used tools like Survey Monkey before, the chances are you won’t be overly impressed by what Survs is… err… serving.

Survs doesn’t do anything wrong, per se. While some may be a little underwhelmed by the design options for themeing a survey, Survs delivers what it sets out to do: create, and distribute surveys and then collect and collate the results. While Survs has only just released in public beta, intial pricing indications are subscription packages starting at nothing for feature limited surveys, right up to a whopping $120 per month for the full suite. Prices will scale on the amount of intended survey recipients.

The questions is will Survs offer enough to grab enough of the market share… and how will Survs deal with the more limited - but effectively very similar - free survey tools?

early-adopter

Survs has been eagerly awaited by early adopters the world over after a long and frustratingly selective private Beta launch. Survs certainly won’t disappoint -  but don’t expect it to make your bed and give you a back rub, either.
